IGALA NATION DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE (INDI) SPEAKS ON KOGI COUNCIL POLLS, CALLS FOR PEACEFUL CONDUCT ACROSS KOGI EAST


 

The leadership of the Igala Nation Development Initiative has called on all stakeholders in Kogi East to play by the rules of the electoral law in the forth coming Local Government election in Kogi State.

This call is premised on the spate of electoral violence witnessed in the last elections held in Kogi State where voters were intimidated against voting and securing thier
votes.

The group warned perpetrators of such acts to desist and allow for a free, credible and violence free election.

The group called on the electorates across the Kingdom to come all out and vote for the candidates of their choices as this tier of Governmentis the closest to the people where accountability can be easily demanded.

The group wish all electorates a peaceful elections across the Kingdom.
