ICDA ELECTIONS 2021: SCREENING OF ASPIRANTS ONGOING AND TO END ON 28th SEPT.


 

Elections into the national executive of the IGALA CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION (ICDA) holds on Saturday, 2nd of October at the IGALA UNITY HOUSE AYINGBA.

Sale of EXPRESSION OF INTEREST & NOMINATION FORMS closed on Monday 20th, September, 2021; Forms submission and screening of all aspirants is presently ongoing and to end on Tuesday, 28th September, 2021.

The above is contained in a statement by the ICDA National Electoral Committee, constituted by the ICDA National Executive empowered by the ICDA board of trustees and endorsed by the Igala Traditional Council.

The committee advised all who purchased forms and the general public to disregard any purported online propaganda of attention seekers impersonating as caretaker committee or ”whatever”, as the law will soon take its course on all those involved even as the ancestors have been invoked to do the needful.

As law abiding citizens with eminent unbiased Igala sons and legal experts with progressive antecedents as members, the focus and mandate of the national electoral committee is to deliver an election devoid of any rancour and backed by the laws of the federal government of Nigeria in line with the constitution of the ICDA duly recognized by the laws of Nigeria.

The electoral committee has been transparent with open doors for anyone with any grievances and every progressive stakeholders and citizens of Igala land have been carried along thus far.

The committee Secretary Barr.M.A. Abaji commended Igala sons and daughters worldwide for their tremendous participation in this election process while thanking the Igala traditional council for standing on the side of truth and the people.

He further stated that service to the Igala nation is voluntary and has its reward just as those destroying the land and creating uneccessarry issues while seeking attention will receive their due reward from the land.
