Hon Jimoh Fancy wins Youth Ambassador of the Year Awards


 

Political icon and APC stalwart, Mr Fancy Jimoh Tiamiyu has been conferred with Youth Ambassador of The Year Award by the Advocacy for Youth Leadership in Governance.

Presenting the award this afternoon of Thursday in Lokoja, the head of the body, Mr Ajinimoh Abiodun said the award was in recognition of the sterling qualities being demonstrated by Hon Jimoh Fancy.

According to the group, Hon Jimoh Fancy is a man of no mean feat, a friendly lover of his fellow youths and an astute businessman with eyes for the best in people, stressing that Kogi and Nigeria was fortunate to have him.

According to the President, the awardee is a lover of peace and a preacher of same, stressing that his type were hugely important to the development of the society.

Speaking while receiving the award, Hon Jimoh Fancy expressed gratitude to God and to the association for finding him worthy, noting that it showed that one should be sincere and committed to whatever he does.

He said the award has again shown that if anyone was serious about making positive impact in the society, such person must not put immediate gain into consideration, but target what would come later.

To him; “I don’t think I know some of the things that were said about me in myself. To me, my goal is to impact people and society positively whether there are people observing or not. It is in my nature.”

The award recipient promised to continue to do his best to make the society better by ensuring that he engaged youths that would also affect society positively at all times.
