Gov. Bello’s declaration to contest for 2023 Presidency, welcome development – Prof. Stephen Ikani Ocheni

A stalwart of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Kogi State, Professor Stephen Ikani Ocheni says the declaration of Governor Yahaya Bello to contest for the number one seat in Nigeria is a welcome development.

Professor Stephen Ocheni who stated this today at the Eagle Square in Abuja venue of the declaration for Governor Yahaya Bello for President come 2023, said the nation at this critical moment needs an energetic and vibrant figure to be at the helms of affairs of the Country.

“Globally today nations that are making steady progress and growth in economy as well as infrastructure, are mostly driven by young men and women, Nigeria can not be different, hence my call on Nigerians to support the ambition of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Bello”.

The APC stalwart who is a former Minister of State, Labour and Employment, stated that the Kogi State Governor has the experience in governance that will bring about better Nigeria if given the mandate to govern the Country.

While describing Governor Bello as the hope for a new Nigeria, Professor Stephen Ocheni maintained that the administration of Governor Bello has prove to be a bridge- builder and a unifier.

Professor Stephen Ocheni said the presence of both the young and the old from different part of the country for the Governor’s declaration shows that the project is well embraced by all sundry, adding that today’s occasion signified a positive beginning for the Presidential ambition of Governor Yahaya Bello.

The former Minister commended the people of Kogi state for coming out in their large numbers to identify with one of their own, urging them not to relent until the project is brought to fruitful end…. Continue reading
