FUL Staff Regularization exercise opens up can of worms

reveals former VC Employed over 200 from Plateau, all from One LGA.

The ongoing staff regularization exercise taking place at the Federal University Lokoja, has left the Federal University Lokoja Community in quandary.

The exercise is said to have left the workers perplexed with discoveries showing that over 250 staff, were alledged to have been employed and posted to the administration department by the former Vice Chancellor, Prof. Angela Miri. The exercise showed that all the staff she employed were from Plateau State.

More worrisome to the University Community is the fact that all those she employed, even though unqualified, are from a particular local government area of Plateau State.

The staff the former Vice Chancellor was said to have employed, the source said were employed without interview and do not have the requisite qualification to serve in the various departments they were posted to.

The source added too that the Staff employed by the former Vice Chancellor in terms of value addition, is nothing to write home about, pointing out that aside the fact that they were not employable in the first instance, are presently only occupying spaces that would have been filled by qualifed indigenes.
