The officer in charge of immunization programme in Ofu local government area of Kogi state, Comrade Danjuma Edicha has disclosed that Corona virus pandemic is real and urged people to keep to the positioning of protocol by Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
Comrade Danjuma Edicha disclosed this to the correspondent of Nigeria Post newspaper in office, Emododa Ogbonicha.
According to him, both public and private clinics should teach people on how to observe NCDC protocol by keeping to the uses of santizers, clinical masks, boots, hand gloves, hygene kits to chusion the effects of the monster called Corona virus.
According to him, they had severally called on the officers of Primary Health Clinics in Ofu Local government area and urged them to enlighten and update the public through Churches and Mosques, stressed that Training of the Trainees(DOT) should also be a possibility to rid off the pandemic.
The immunization officer further stated that it was their responsibility to reachout to eleven wards in the local government to enable those in the density areas benefit from the programmes carried out by the health sector of the council.
He appealed to the operators of private clinics to always conduct tests on patients before treatment.
