Kogi State Coordinator of ACReSAL program and the “OTUN YEYE MESHO” of Ekirin-Ade, Barr. Ladi Ahmed Jatto (OON) today felicitates with the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Alh. Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, the Ohi of Okene, Alh. Isah Mamman Okatahi and entire christian community on the joyous occasion of this year’s Christmas, which commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ.

In her Christmas message she personally signed and made available to newsmen, Barr. Ladi said this season is another opportunity to reflect on the imagery of the humble, symbolic and divine birth of a young child thousands of years ago in Bethlehem, and the message of hope, compassion, salvation, reconciliation, forgiveness and peace that Jesus Christ embodies and conveys.

The message acknowledges and appreciates the giant stride of Gov. Usman Ododo on infrastructural development, education, security and various welfare packages that put smile on the faces of our people during this festive period.

Let me take time to applaudes the pivotal roles of our revered paramount ruler of Ebiraland, His Royal Majesty, Alh. Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje and other traditional rulers in maintaining peace and harmony among their subjects. ” I want to really commend our royal fathers for their generosity towards the people especially the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland. I hail his humility, tolerance and love to the diversity of people that make Ebiraland a beautiful climate beaming with abundant opportunities”.

Your Royal Majesty sir, these characters are the hallmarks of Jesus message to the people which remain the symbol of the season, hence, I want to sincerely thank you for the fatherly role you have played so far regardless of our differences in politics and religious believes.

In the same vein, I also extends felicitation to the entire christian community in Ebiraland on the auspicious occasion of Christmas celebration and urge you all to exchange gifts, pray and visit loved ones as well as remember those on sick beds and many others who cannot be with their families this time.

I wish everyone Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Signed:
Chief (Barr.) Ladi Ahmed Jatto (OON)
