In Kogi State we have a credible, people oriented and successful administration, Since new direction (GYB) government is all about service to the people, there is one man that I usually refer to as new direction Talisman who seek and accommodate peoples’ opinion. Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku, is a man of the people. He listens to the need of the people and assists them out of their plight. He brought to bear these good attributes to the development of Kogites and environs. He turned around the fortunes of the people and those that are fortunate to come his way. Such a BEAUTY to behold!
The Chief of staff to His excellency is well known to Kogites for decades and we can attest to his political sagacity, his drive, focus and his continuing legacy with a deep commitment to State service and involvement. Carol Brink had in mind one of the greatest talented giver , Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku the Chief of staff to the greatest Governor of all time .
Pharm. Asuku is the kind of person that goes about his charity works without blowing his trumpet . He carries on as if he is not doing anything ; since to him giving is just a way of life and not a means to show up .
Chief of Staff has come to represent a protective shield and an umbrella for vulnerable people . He has implanted in many hearts trust and love towards him because of the immeasurable things he has impacted in their lives .
One striking thing about him is that his giving knows no boundaries , it is an all round affairs . So, it is not only for the poor but for those in need . I don’t think their will be honour done to this great man of inestimable value that can be enough. Humanity will continue to celebrate Pharm Asuku for putting smiles on the faces of people .
I now understand that giving is a talent ; I learned that giving is a gift from God and I can say that giving is a calling and therefore , not everybody is gifted in this by God. Finally, it is my submission that Chief of Staff deserves commendation and God’s blessings for his kind gestures , this is why I do not expect everybody to be givers . So , when I see a giver celebrate I do them.
The significance of this day is beyond just your birthday sir. It is a celebration of someone that is greatly loved and admired – Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku. You are a wonderful boss, mentor, and role model. Birthdays are nothing but milestones of what you have achieved in life. You have impacted greatly into the lives of so many that come in contact with you. Your philanthropic gesture is second to none. Your advisory and remarkable roles in the life of youths cannot be quantified. We still have alot to emulate from you.
