The Executive Chairman of Kogi State Science Technical Education and Teaching Service Commission, STETSCOM, Mrs. Cecilia Cook has described the fifth year in office of the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello as rewarding and eventful, saying the Governor is a pride to women and teachers in the state.
Mrs. Cook made the remark in a congratulatory message to mark the first anniversary of the second term of Governor Bello on behalf of the Board, Management and Staff of the Commission.
She commended the Governor for providing purposeful leadership by engaging women in the governance of the State as well as placing education sector on the right track.
The STETSCOM Executive Chairman also described the renewed commitment of the present administration to give Secondary Schools through the introduction of Education for all Project.
She felicitated with the Governor, his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharmacist Jamiu Asuku and the Commissioner of Education Science and Technology, Mr. Wemi Jones on the celebration.
The STETSCOM Boss also extended her felicitation with the wife of the Governor, Mrs. Rashida Bello, Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs. Folashade Ayoade and the State Head of Service, Elder Deborah Ogunmola as well as other women in the New Direction Team.
Mrs. Cook prayed God to grant the state Executive Council under the Chairmanship of Governor Yahaya Bello the wisdom and good health to pilot the State affairs well.
