…preaches unity, sacrifice and love
Top contender for Okene/Ogori Magongo 2023 Federal Constituency seat, Captain Timi Iyela, has felicitated with constituents on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.
Captain Timi Iyela in a Christmas message to Christians in Okene / Ogori Magongo Federal Constituency, said; “I celebrate with you fellow Christian brothers and sisters and more importantly, my fellow constituents, on the occasion of this year’s Christmas.
“As we celebrate the birth of Christ, I charge you all my brothers and sisters, on the purpose of unity, for without unity, no meaningful development can find expression in any society or gathering.
“Much more, I urge us to take seriously the value of sacrifice, for the very coming of Jesus Christ to Earth at first, was borne out of God’s willingness to sacrifice His only Son to redeem humanity from the burden of sin and the penalty of death.”
“Finally, I charge us all, on the essence of love. The essence of Jesus coming to Earth was an expression of God’s love for humanity.
“With love for one another and for our dear Federal constituency, we will be able to get to that greatness we all yearn for; as individuals and as a Federal constituency,” Captain Timi Iyela further added.
