The General Overseer of the New Life For All Nations Ministries, Pastor Sunday Edokpayi has called on Christians all over the world to maintain the Biblical principles and standards of Christianity.
Edokpayi made the call at the international headquarters, Ibadan as he welcomes members from all over the world to the 2021 National Convention holding from 23rd to 26th December 2021.
The convention which is tagged “Biblical Christianity” holds at the international headquarters, Ibadan,in Oloola off Lagos/Ibadan Express way,Soka bus top, Ibadan, Nigeria.
Edokpayi, speaking from the holy scriptures, Acts chapter eleven verse twenty six, emphasised the need for Christians to maintain their solid stand in Christ even as the Christmas season sets in.
According to him, living life in line with the principles of Jesus Christ is what God has called His children unto.
“We should be aware that our call to Christ according to Matthew 4:19 was a call to followership, and followership is a call to Biblical Christianity,(Acts 26:28). A call to membership of New Life For All Nations Ministry is a call to Biblical Christianity. As this year is the ‘Eve of our Jubilee’, then there is the need to remind us of what the Ministry aims to make us to become,therefore let us pay attention to every segment of the program as the Lord is set to bless us through his anointed servants”. He observed.
The Cleric maintained that, a Biblical Christian is one whose conducts, attitudes and behaviours resembles that of Christ’s as it was witnessed in Antioch where Jesus’ disciples were first called Christians .
He submitted that, a Biblical Christian will not be easily tossed around by the end time activities, but will stand as ambassadors of the kingdom,uplifting the banner of righteousness in a perverted generation.
