Water Resources Commissioner, Engr. Yahaya MD Farouk, Appreciates Amb. Gabriel Abinu.
… Attends Empowerment Programme.
The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Water Resources, Kogi State, Engr. Yahaya MD Farouk, FNSE today, Sunday, 27th July, 2025 attended the Women Empowerment Programme by a Lokoja Philanthropist and International Tennis Coach, Amb. Gabriel Abinu, Chief Executive Officer of Coach Amb. Gabriel Abinu Foundation.
The Honourable Commissioner of Water Resources, Engr. Yahaya MD Farouk, FNSE appreciated Coach Gabriel Abinu for the wonderful work he is doing for the communities in Lokoja LGA especially the provision of productive boreholes to compliment Government effort in providing portable water to the people, a gesture worthy of emulation by other blessed and well to do indigenes and citizens of the State.
The Programme which held at the Lokoja Club and attended by the APC Chairman, Lokoja LGA, Hon. Maikudi Bature, the Executive Chairman, Lokoja LGA, Com. Abdullahi Adamu represented by the Vice Chairperson, Lokoja LGA, Hon. Patricia Balogun, the Council Leader, Lokoja Legislative Council, Hon. Teni Mohammed and some of her Councillors.
Also in attendance are the Senior Special Assistants to the Executive Governor of Kogi State and other Lokoja LGA stakeholders.
The humane Philanthropist, Coach Ambassador Gabriel Abinu assured the people of the continued support of his Foundation in alleviating the suffering of the masses in several areas of interventions.
Some areas the Foundation has so far intervened ranged from provision of portable water to the people through his numerous borehole projects to payment of JAMB registration and school fees for indigent students and now empowerment of 120 Women with cash and cloths amongst several far reaching interventions.
Prayers and encomium where showered on Coach Amb. Gabriel Abinu, CEO of Coach Ambassador Gabriel Abinu Foundation, for his commitment to giving back to the communities, indeed, to the society even as a private citizen for God continue to bless him.
