Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo has been commended for the choice of Engr. Yahaya MD Farouk as Commissioner For Water Resources.
Hon. Godfrey Adekoye, Senior Special Assistant on Youths Empowerment made the disclosure in a statement issued to Newsmen, praised Gov Ododo for choosing Engr. Farouk who he described as a round peg amongst member of his cabinet, said his appointment has started yielding the desired results.
According to Hon. Godfrey, the people of Lokoja could not have asked for more in the administration of Gov Ododo, said with the free flow of water through the resuscitation of the old Lokoja Water Works by the present administration, the people are daily in praises and prayers for the present administration.
While pointing out that in just eight months, Engr. Farouk has brought a new lease of life to the Ministry of Water Resources, praised him for his outstanding efforts to resuscitate all the moribund water facilities inherited by the present administration across the State.
He noted that the reward for hardwork is more work, appealed to Gov. Ododo to allow Engr. Farouk to continue serve now and in the second term in the Water Resources Ministry, pointing out that he has proven to be a go getter, has the ability to ensure that the vision of the present administration in the provision of portable water is realized in the next eight years.
The Senior Special Assistant used the medium to on behalf of the people of Lokoja who now turn their taps and fetch water freely without difficulty thanked Gov. Ododo for using Engr. Farouk to bring smiles to the faces of the people of the metropolis.
