The Kogi State Commissioner For Solid Minerals Development and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu has stated that the appointment of his boss, Governor Yahaya Bello, as the National Youth Coordinator of the All Progressive Congress Campaign Council is appropriate due to the governor’s massive youth support.
Congratulating the governor on his appointment, Engr. Bashiru Gegu stated in a felicitation message made available to the press in Lokoja on Sunday that the APC’s Presidential candidate for 2023, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, made the right choice by putting Gov. Bello in charge of youth mobilization.
In the statement Engr. Bashiru stated that Gov. Bello is a doyen and Commander of the Nigerian Youths, pointing out that with his antecedents in empowering youths, Nigerian youths will throw their weight behind him to deliver for the APC in the forthcoming Presidential election.
Engr. Bashiru explained that due to his youth- and women-friendly policies, inclusive policies of people with disabilities, assured of unprecedented votes for APC due to the impressive political achievements and exemplary leadership qualities of Gov Bello that placed premium on the Youth demography.
Engr. Bashiru Gegu congratulated Gov. Bello wished him well in his new assignment, congratulated the APC Presidential Candidate for a well deserved victory that is assured by Nigerian Youths through Gov. Bello.
