The Miners Association of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter, has congratulated the Honourable Commissioner For Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Bashiru Gegu, who also doubles as the Chairman-Mineral Resources And Environmental Management Committee (MIREMCO), on the newly constituted Board of Directors for Kogi Solid Minerals and Processing Company Limited.
The Miners Association of Nigeria, Kogi State Chapter, in a message of congratulations sent to Engr. Bashiru Gegu, described the composition of the Board of Directors For Kogi Solid Minerals and Processing Company Limited as very apt, said it will help in attracting businesses and investment opportunities in the Solid Minerals Sector.
The Miners Association explained further that the composition of the Board could not have come at a better time than now, expressed optimism that with the calibre of persons in the Board, the State will experience a new lease of life in the Solid Minerals Sector.

Miners Association Of Nigeria, (Kogi State) added that the composition of the Board is not only timely, would help reposition and reinvigorate the Mining sector of the State for unprecedented development.
The Miners Association pointed out that with the calibre of persons, vast with experience, appointed into the Board, the desired results from the Solid Minerals Sector of the State would be achieved quickly.
The composition of the Board, the Miners Association said the Solid Minerals Sector has been better repositioned for effectiveness to deliver on the mandate and the objective of the current administration.
While wishing the Members of the Board a fruitful tenure as they collectively work with the Solid Minerals Commissioner to deliver on their mandate, congratulated the Commissioner for attaining yet another feat.
