Following the purchase of Expression of Interest/Nomination Forms of the All Progressive Congress by our most resources and qualified candidate, Madam Yemisi Oshaloto popularly known as Erelu, for the seat of Yagba West State Constituency, we hereby declare our solidarity and undiluted support to ensure that we deliver on her mandate and ultimately produce her as the state’s first legislator.
Madam Oshaloto’s decision to join the Assembly race is not to gratify her own interests, but to render a selfless and well structured service to her people. And as such we are committed to mobilize and canvass widely across major towns and villages in Yagba West Local Government Area, particularly delegates set to vote at the party primaries.
It is on this note that Yagba West Youth Consultative Forum is declaring a no vacancy for the State Constituency’s seat and thereby call on intending aspirants in the All Progressive Congress to down their interest for the sake of the people, and rally support for Madam Yemisi Oshaloto and ensure that the people’s wish come to reality.
We shall not jettison the Idèrà De manifesto and the aspiration of Madam Oshaloto for any other candidate, and the Assembly seat is neither for sale, nor vacant for any other person to contest for.
The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi State, and the administration of His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello, both believes in equity and also puts the aspiration of female candidates into consideration, therefore we believe that this sun that has risen shall not net untill it’s appropriate time.
