The Senator Elect, Representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Hon. Sunday Karimi, says the people of Yagba West are God fearing will not sacrifice Christianity, decency they are known for, for blood money.
The Senator Elect made the disclosure while speaking against the backdrop of the forthcoming House of Assembly Election says
” My people are God fearing. Missionary activities brought Christianity and civilization to our place. We can not be sacrificed for blood money.
” We can not allow Babalawo, a ritualist, one suspected to be glorified and elected to serve as our representative.
” We are talking of a guy who was reported for kidnapping of kids for rituals and was on the run. We have to do all to bring sanity into our polity”.
Hon. Karimi said the people of Yagba West are known for decency, civilization, have come in contact with Christianity and modernization for long, said they people would not make the mistake of voting for people of questionable characters to represent them at the State House of Assembly.
He called on the people to vote wisely, pointing out that the APC Flagbearer would offer quality representation if elected.
