The Chairman of Yagba West LGA, Pius Kolawole, alongside heads of security agencies, ably led by the DPO of Odo-Ere has returned back a truck loaded with over 100 Fulani’s moving to Okunran Illegally .
Hon Pius Kolawole has upon assumption to office, taken security issue seriously says his administration would not take lightly issues of invasion by herdsmen, promised not to compromise on issues of safety.
He said since he assumed office series of meetings as regards the invasion of Fulani in Yagba West has topped his priority, assured of safety of lives and properties.
The intercepted trailer load of the Fulani’s were escorted out of the Local Government with the support of Security Agencies and handed over to the DPO of Eruku for them to be further escorted out of the community.
The Commissioner of Pension Commission, Hon Solomon Adebayo(Akeweje), Hon Tunji Aro( Egwe), COS Hon Tosin Rowland, Supervising Councilor for Agriculture and Natural Resources Hon Kayode Abolaji, Supervising Councilor Health, Hon Abiodun Ayara, DSO and DSS official were all on ground to ensure the safety of Yagba West LGA.
