The All Progressive Congress (APC) family in Yagba East, Yesterday, held a smooth, peaceful and as directed by Governor Yahaya Bello, an affirmative ward congress across the 10 wards that made up the Local Government.
Sequel to the unambiguous directive of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello to affirm the subsisting executives across all the wards in the state, Yagba East, APC stakeholders which includes the Executive Chairman, state and local Appointees, elected Assembly and Councillors, party stalwarts and party faithfuls followed the instructions of the His Excellency to the latter.
The Executive Chairman of Yagba East Local Government, Hon. Asiru Abdulrasaq ijagbemi, as the leader in the grassroot cadre of the party addressed all the stakeholders and party faithfuls present at the APC local government Secretariat on the affirmative modality to be adopted for the ward congress as directed by the stakeholders of the party in Kogi State.
The Zonal women leader also addressed the party faithfuls and stakeholders, she said the instructions is to follow the status quo by affirming the present party structures across the ten wards in Yagba East LGA.

Kehinde Atteh, APC Caretaker Chairman Yagba East, 9 out 10 wards Caretaker Chairmen, Chief Owoeye and many other stakeholders and party stalwarts.
In their seperate remarks, the party stakeholders expressed their heart of appreciation to His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State for providing exemplary leadership thats has, in an unusual way, unified and stabilised the Progressive Party in the State.
Thereafter, the affirmation process followed immediately in the presence and glaring view of the Law enforcement agencies like DSS, NPF.. and the representatives of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
