By joshua WWT KOGI: IDAH TOWN HALL SPARKS MAJOR GRASSROOTS PUSH FOR TINUBU AHEAD OF 2027
The Win With Tinubu (WWT) Project, Kogi State, took its grassroots mobilisation to the next level on Thursday, 3rd September 2026, with a well-attended Town Hall Meeting in Idah, headquarters of the Idah/Igalamela-Odolu/Ibaji/Ofu Federal Constituency.
Held at Mary Pat Event Centre, opposite UEC Model School, Sabongari, Idah, the gathering brought together WWT supporters, community stakeholders, political leaders, and admirers of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from across Kogi East.
The programme began with a courtesy visit to the palace of the Attah Igala. The visit underscored WWT’s commitment to respecting traditional institutions and working through community leadership structures to drive political engagement in Igala land.
The venue was filled to capacity with WWT members clad in branded T-shirts and caps. The sea of supporters reflected the growing structure, visibility, and organisational strength of the project in Kogi East.
Addressing the crowd on behalf of the WWT Chairman, Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, the State Coordinator, Hon. Sani Philips, gave a detailed breakdown of the Tinubu administration’s achievements and policy direction.
He highlighted federal interventions in:
– Infrastructure and Roads
– Agriculture and Food Security
– Education, Youth and Student Support
– MSMEs, Jobs and Economic Growth
– National Security
Hon. Philips stressed that 2027 will be won on the basis of performance and continuous engagement with the people. He urged participants to take the message of “Renewed Hope” back to their wards and communities.
Other WWT State Co-Chairmen were also present and represented at the event.
Beyond speeches, the Town Hall created room for direct interaction between the WWT leadership and the people. Participants asked questions, shared concerns, and reaffirmed their support for President Tinubu.
WWT leaders emphasized that politics must move beyond Lokoja and major towns into villages, markets, and palaces — where elections are truly decided.
Following the success in Idah, the WWT Town Hall series will move next to Ankpa/Omala/Olamaboro Federal Constituency, and then to Bassa/Dekina Federal Constituency.
Organisers described the Idah meeting as a clear sign that WWT is building real structures at the grassroots and expanding President Tinubu’s support base ahead of 2027.
