WRITERS INTERACTIVE NETWORK LITERARY FESTIVAL (WINLITFEST) SET TO KICK OFF ON THE 12TH OF NOVEMBER IN LAGOS


Writers Interactive Network is set to lit the Lagos literary scenario agog this November by celebrating Arts through a literary festival tagged a Feast of Arts at Book fever place in Surulere on the 12th of November 2022.

Writers Interactive Network is a Literary platform comprising of all genres of writers in different locations worldwide whose sole purpose is to promote and improve writing skills.

 

WINLITFEST is a literary arts festival that will ignite passion for the literary arts community in Lagos as it will both be educating and entertaining which will feature readings, panel discussions, poetry performances, book launches and sales, creation of a young WIN Club for students and much more.

The festival’s honoree, Tade Ipadeola, the NLNG poetry prize winner in 2013 will open the festival which features several other eminent Speakers that cut across different fields such as medicine and literature, with DR Odey Eyeoyibo and Dr Chinanza Eziaghighala discussing Bibliotherapy, creative nonfiction writers such as satyendra sighn discussing his book, Artists such as OJD, Bayo and Ola will be showcasing art works, book publishers like Nosakhare Collins and Theodore Obi Chikelu will be discussing Constructive Criticism & Making Money Through Writing, journalists like Dr. Olayinka Oeygbile, Anote Ajeluorou and Richard Mammah will be discussing about Nigerian stories and breaking stereotypes alongside other performances and discussions by Abiodun Omotubi, Chimamaka Adeniyi, Waleola, Alero Shirly Okiki amongst others lined up for the event.

WIN’s mission to provide a creative platform by writers for writers to flourish in creativity and expression is also going to be extended to students of Eagles Landing high school at the festival by kickstarting a young win literary club through them.

The festival will starting at 8:00am on the 12th of November 2022 with a red carpet session at book fever, a book store at No.2 Alhaji Masha Street, Surulere, lagos which seeks to promote reading culture among young people.
