Sues For more diligent service to the State, nation.

The Kogi State Commissioner For Finance Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris has felicitated with workers on the commemoration of the 2021 International Workers’ Day celebration, particularly commended Gov. Yahaya Bello for his workers friendly policies.

The Commissioner in a message made available to Newsmen to mark the day, said despite the trying times in the country occasioned by the incessant cases of insecurity and other economic challenges, said there is much to remember about the sacrifices made by Nigerian workers.

The Turaki Kotonkarfe commended Kogi State workers at all levels both in the private and public sector for their commitment and dedication to work over the years, which he said has helped shaped the economy.

In his words, the Turaki Kotonkarfe said: “I want to salute your dedication and patriotic services over the years for always given your best to your work irrespective of the challenges that abound”.

Indeed, myself, the state and Nigerians are proud of you especially that your activities has added value socially and economically with the hope that you will continue to sustain the peace enjoyed in the State.

“I urge us to use this medium to please redouble our efforts at this time of our national development. You must continue to put in your best in the work that you do for the betterment of Kogi State and Nigerian at large” He added.

The Commissioner called on Nigerian workers to be more productive now and always, saying that was achieved before now must be sustained and improved upon, bearing in mind that the issue of remuneration is always at the fore assured that he would use his position to make case for workers from time to time as the need arises.

While wising workers a spirit filled celebration, he charged them to be proud of their work, called for more dedication and patriotism saying the challenges of the moment will soon be over as government is committed to the improved welfare of workers and security of lives and properties.
