Workers Day: Engr. Ohere, Senator Elect, Kogi Central Rejoices With Workers.


 

The Senator Elect, Kogi Central Senatorial District, Engr Abubakar Ohere has congratulated the entire workers of the State, with special emphasis to Workers of Kogi Central on the celebration of 2023 Workers’ Day.

 

The Senator Elect in a statement made available to newsmen expressed commendation for the unprecedented contribution by the workers that has helped in oiling the wheel of productivity in the country.

Engr. Ohere praised the workers for their hard work, diligence and sacrifice, pointing out that their efforts is largely responsible in driving the nation’s economy, says their labour is highly recognize in the State and country.

Engr. Ohere said there was dignity in labour, charged the workers to sustain their dedication and commitment to work, a veritable ingredients for rapid socio economic development of the country.

The Senator Elect called on the workers to imbibe the culture of productivity, adding that productivity leads to satisfactory provision of goods and services as well as wealth creation.

Engr. Ohere assured the workers that he is eminently armed with the need and demand by the Nigerian worker, promising that making laws that would improve on their living conditions through enhanced salaries and wages would remain topmost priority in his legislation.

The Senator Elect therefore charged the workers to continue to be dedicated to duty and loyal to the All Progressives Congress led government at all levels, prayed God to grant them the opportunity to witness many more years celebration in good health and prosperity.
