Women Group Begs President Tinubu To Consider Dr. Yakubu Pam For Appointment.
The Nigerian Women for Peace and Unity, and Youth Forum has called on President Amed Bola Tinubu to reconsider the immediate past Executive Secretary of Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Dr. Yakubu Pam for National appointment.
The women group made this call in a press conference in Abuja.
According to the convener of the press conference, Dr. Titilayo Christina Onyia, the former Executive Secretary of the Pilgrim Commission, Dr. Yakubu Pam was dramatically uprooted from his position without expiration of his tenure;
” Until last month, he was in charge of the Pilgrim of Christians all over Nigeria to various countries with holy sites. He was dramatically uprooted from that office even when his tenure remains one and half year.
Speaking further, Dr. Titilayo affirmed that Dr. Yakubu Pam’s exemplary leadership sets him apart amongst his peers and known by all to be detribalized Nigerian with track records of selfless services to Nigeria as a nation.
Therefore, she said they were hopeful that President Tinubu would deem it necessary to assign Dr. Yakubu Pam a news Position;
” We are hopeful that our dear President Bola Tinubu would assign Dr. Yakubu Pam a new position that would be a platform for him to continue to serve our nation for the betterment of all citizens”
“We are equally thanking our President Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for being a wonderful father to all, irrespective of one’s religion or tribe. We are happy that he had started tackling the economy and security challenges in the country’. She said.
