His ideologies are built on Equity, Fairness and Justice which will have a direct impact on the people of Yagba East.
Yagba East in the State Assembly needs a person with a clear intuition, unambiguous, realistic and measurable.
The actualiser of the vision must also be a man of impeccable character, a purebred trailblazer with a track record in public administration. He is a groundbreaker that also has a platform that controls the public trust, crystal clear and not enmeshed in the cell of recalcitrant rogues. His personality is not a rookie of an insidious political cartel that is known to have brought the youths to their ignoble knees through corruption and brazen assault on the principles of democracy and human liberty.
Chief Adesoji Odofin fits this apt description. His comprehensive visions are genuine. I concluded that a society’s success is not defined by its poverty or its riches, but by the broadness of the vision of its leaders. Chief Adesoji has shown a keen and extraordinary understanding of Yagba East, her prospects, the challenges and the various tributaries of her social, cultural and spiritual diversities. Odofin has summarized his vision under six themes: GOOD LEADERSHIP, EXCELLENCE, ACCOUNTABILITY, GOVERNANCE, OPPORTUNITY AND SERVICE.
A leader that doent not have good leadership skills and human relations can not be trusted to lead. It is noteworthy that Chief Adesoji is set to “provide authentic” leadership. His approach to leadership is steering to develop youths and young minds to experience growth.

Chief Odofin and his party are to provide “Accountability, Embrace the three tenets of Probity, Accountability, and Transparency.” No wonder people who know him characterize him as “humble and honest to a fault.” At this moment in Yagba East, when the Youths need vocal voices that will speak and legislate on their behalf in the State Assembly, there is no better time than now to have a man of Chief Odofin’s pedigree.
He will “focus on delivering good governance to our people across the local government, state and strata of the society. Continue to build a better and just society, a society where hard work and honesty are rewarded, where equity and justice prevail; where the gap between the rich and the poor gives way to the provision of equal opportunities to all, and where no segment of the society develops at the expense of others.” This shows a deep understanding of one of the critical challenges and a clear knowledge of what governance is all about.
One of the major traits of underdevelopment is the lack of opportunities. Chief Odofin has deliberately chosen the word “opportunity” as one of his thematic focuses. He is to “provide opportunities and possibilities for all citizens irrespective of gender, ethnicity, educational background, religious affiliation, or physical conditions. Build a society where steady growth for Youths emanates, where the government and state legislation is for all.” He goes further to emphasise service, that critical trait that is declining in our very eyes.
He commits himself to “selfless service in all spheres of life”.
He will “offer services that meet the standards and expectations of today’s world; standards that will put Yagba East in the league of effective and efficiently run.” This will involve working round the clock to completely strengthen the hope and yarnings of the people.
