We’ve Lost Great Men In Captain Hosa, Prof. Uwaifo, — Ken Imansuagbon

Bar. Ken Immansuagbon, popularly known as Rice Man, has expressed shock over the passing away of Captain Hosa, and music maestro, Prof. Victor Uwaifo, whose deaths were  announced by their families.

 

Multi-millionaire business mogul and Proprietor of Abuja based mega school, Pacesetters Academy, Barrister Kenneth Imansuangbon, described the demise of Benin born multibillionaire Captain Idahosa Wells Okunbor as a huge loss to Edo State and indeed Nigeria.

He made the description while on a condolence visit to the GRA, Benin City mansion of the departed philantropist during the weekend.

Barrister Imansuangbon, who was accompanied on the visit by his amiable wife, Kate,, said: “It pains that we have to lose one of our finest, a very illustrious son, Captain Hosa. He was kind and loving. He was for everybody.

“He meant many things to many people. Captain was a very nice man. You cannot blame God. He touched many lives. We are comforted by the facts of his good deeds. His deeds, his works are very memorable. Captain was a promise to all of us.”

Barrister Imansuangbon, advised the children to build on the legency that their father left behind.

At the home of the late Professor Victor Efosa Uwaifo, Barrister Imansuangbon charged the family of the deceased to be comforted and feel proud that they were related to the multitalented man.

“I am here with my wife because of what Professor, the guitar boy represents. Victor Uwaifo was one of our finest in Edo State. The loss is our loss. The death has brought a minus to us.

“The Governor of Edo State was correct when he said that Sir(Prof.) Victor Uwaifo was a global icon. We have lost that global icon, Sir Victor Uwaifo. Though we have lost him, we still have hope. The hope is first in his deeds while he was here.

“His bones will be interred with his good deeds. Great men like Sir Victor Uwaifo are never dead.”

While welcoming Barrister Imansuangbon and his entourage Chris Eburu, the Manager of the Professor Victor Uwaifo music assemble revealed that the death of the multitalented artiste came as a rude shock.

“We were looking forward to his 90th birthday. Again Professor Victor Uwaifo was already making arrangements for the remembrance of his mother. We had worked assidously to ensure the success.

“He actually started putting together a programme for it and tributes were being sent. Everything was ready but unfortunately man proposes, God disposes. We never expected this to happen.” He concluded.
