The Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones (FCIB) has commiserated with the Obaro of Kabba, HRM, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi over the demise of his father, Pa Timothy Owoniyi .
A statement from the Commissioner over the sad incident says it is unfortunate that the monarch lost the father at a time when the counsel and prayers of the patriarch were most desired.
He described the late patriarch as a man who gave his best to his children; a gesture that is today immensely beneficial to Okunland through HRM Oba Owoniyi.
“It is unfortunate that we lost Daddy at a time when his counsel and prayers were most needed, but God is always timely; He knows the best.”
“We are consoled in the fact that he left good legacies behind in the children he has trained so well to give the best to humanity; this is rubbing off on the people of Kabba/ Bunu and Okun land at large.
Wemi Jones prays that God will stand by the bereaved family at a time like this and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
