
… As Eyele Central Mosque Officially Commissioned
Well to do Muslims have been called upon to contribute to the development of Islam.

Member Representing Lokoja One Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Alhaji Isah Umar made the call during the commissioning of Eyele Central Mosque in Ofu Local Government Area.
Alhaji Umar described the Mosque project as a great achievement as it will provide the Muslim community the opportunity to observe their daily prayers.

He prayed God to reward those who contributed towards the building of the Mosque saying that the house of Allah will surely be beneficial to Muslim faithful within the area.
In his welcome address, Chairman of Kogi State Council of Ulamau, Sheikh Salman Adam who thanked Allah for the success of the occasion said the Mosque was built to create an enabling environment for the community, surrounding villages and travelers along the road to worship Allah and urged them to bring to bear the best practice in the management of the Mosque.
In a lecture on the Importance of Sadakatu Jariya, Ustaz Muhammed Mansur-Imam described Sadakatu Jariya as an act of living legacy.
Ustaz Mansur called on Muslims to strive in the ways of Allah with their wealth to contribute to the building of a Mosque.
In their goodwill messages, the Onu Itobe, Alhaji Saliu Adaji, Grand Kadi Sharia Court of Appeal, Justice Abdulkareem Aruwa, and Chairman of Jamatul Nasri Islam (JNI), Ambassador Usman Bello called for unity amongst the people of the state irrespective of their ethnic background and commended Kogi State Council of Ulamau for their support to the development of Islam.
Highlight of the occasion was the Turbaning of Ustaz Seidu Alhassan as the Chief Imam of Eyele Central Mosque, as well as special prayers for the state.
