WATER IS LIFE: SENATOR SUNDAY KARIMI DELIVERS SOLAR-POWERED BOREHOLES TO THE PEOPLE OF KOGI LGA

Distinguished Senator Sunday Steve Karimi has once again demonstrated people-centered leadership by providing solar-powered boreholes across communities in Kogi Local Government Area, under the Kogi West Senatorial District. This laudable intervention is more than a project,it is a lifeline, restoring dignity, improving public health, and easing the daily burden of families who struggle for access to clean water.

In a time when many communities are crippled by unreliable electricity supply, Senator Karimi’s foresight stands tall. These boreholes are fully solar-powered, operating independently of NEPA, ensuring steady and sustainable access to potable water for the people—today and for generations to come.

True to his record, this is not a one-off gesture. Senator Karimi has done it before, and he is still doing it, remaining consistent in his commitment to grassroots development and the welfare of his constituents.

The solar boreholes have been sited in the following wards across Kogi LGA:
•Chikara North Ward
•Chikara South Ward
•Gegu North Ward
•Gegu South Ward
•Girinya Ward
•Tawari Ward
•Akpasu Ward
•Irenodu Ward
•Kkse Ward
•Ukwo Ward
•Odakii Ward

From ward to ward, the impact is clear: reduced waterborne diseases, saved time for women and children, and renewed hope for rural communities. This is leadership with compassion, governance with results, and representation that truly delivers dividends of democracy.

The good people of Kogi LGA wholeheartedly appreciate Distinguished Senator Sunday Karimi for giving back meaningfully to his constituency. With prayers and gratitude, they stand in faith that as he seeks a second term, victory will come with ease, so he can continue this noble work of service to the people.
