VOTE OF CONFIDENCE PASSED ON THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN KOGI STATE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE, HON. SULE SALIHU ENEHE BY THE NORTH CENTRAL STAKEHOLDERS FORUM OF THE NIGERIAN YOUTH CONGRESS AT THE GENERAL QUARTERLY MEETING IN JOS PLATEAU STATE.
THE NORTH CENTRAL STAKEHOLDERS’ FORUM OF THE NIGERIAN YOUTH CONGRESS IN HER QUARTERLY MEETING HELD IN JOS PLATEAU STATE ON THE 26TH OF APRIL, 2025 ROSE WITH THE RESOLUTION TO PASS A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON THE EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN OF KOGI STATE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE, HON. SALIHU ENECHE, FCA, FCTI.
The North Central Stakeholders’ Forum of the Nigerian Youth Congress has beamed its search light on Hon. Salihu since his appointment as the Chairman Kogi State Internal Revenue Service. In line with our core mandate, an official secret assessment exercise on the activities of Hon. Salihu since his assumption of duty was carried out. It might interest you to note that, Hon. Salihu passed all the tests of leadership including human capital development and drastic improvement in revenue generation for the state.
In view of the above, the forum has no choice but to pass A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE on the Hon. Chairman of Kogi State Internal Revenue Service, Hon. Salihu who has demonstrated capacity and competence in governance within the period under review. It will equally interest members of the press to know that, Kogi State Internal Revenue Service has been rated by the stakeholders’ forum as the BEST in the country.
We wish to also use this opportunity to appreciate his Excellency, the executive governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for his pragmatic leadership in the state and for appointing Hon. Salihu Eneche to man the all-important revenue service of the state. We equally appreciate the immediate past governor of kogi state, his Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for given Kogi state a worthy successor who has transformed the state within the shortest possible time in office.
This vote of confidence was passed on Hon. Salihu in order to spur him to continue to do more for the state and to also project him as role model for the younger generation of kogites across the country.
