The Kogi State Government has made another landmark in the field of medicine and modern equipments by having a fully installed and now functioning massive medical oxygen production plant in the newly built world class Reference Hospital, Okene.
The world class equipment was test run for 40hours non-stop.
The oxygen production plant has the capacity to produce both liquid and gaseous oxygen and Nitrogen
According to health analysts who witnessed the test run, praised the efforts of Gov. Yahaya Bello in placing the State on the world map, having such medical equipment, the first of its kind in Africa.
Analysts thanked the entire team that worked on the project, pointing out that it would go a long way, checking medical tourism.
Similarly, the State Government has completed the installation of the second latest MRI equipment setup in the world at Okene Reference Hospital.
