UKUIDA Pays Tribute to Alhaji Baba Abubakar Suleiman, Praised His Life of Service, Dedication
Idah, Kogi State – The Udama Kpai Unyogba Idah Development Association (UKUIDA) is deeply saddened by the passing of Alhaji Baba Abubakar Suleiman, a revered community leader and stalwart of the Idah community.
In a statement signed by Hon. Paul Ukwenya, President of UKUIDA, the Association extends its heartfelt condolences to the entire family of the deceased during this difficult time.
The Statement noted that Alhaji Baba Suleiman was a remarkable individual who dedicated his life to serving others.
It added that as a retired police officer, he served the country with dedication and dignity, inspiring countless others with his commitment to justice and public service, lauded his tenure as Chairman of Egah Market Idah, marked by significant achievements, including resolving disputes, promoting trade, and fostering unity among traders.
” Your leadership and wisdom will be greatly missed by the business community and the people of Idah”.
The statement noted that beyond professional and community service, Alhaji Baba Suleiman was a respected leader in the Tijaniyyah sect, guiding many in their spiritual journeys and promoting peace, compassion, and community service.
It further commended his contributions to Abokocheje Clan as Chairman and the broader community, said he will be deeply missed, and his legacy will continue to inspire generations to come.

UKUIDA prays that the soul of Alhaji Baba Suleiman rests in Aljannah Firdaus and that his family finds comfort and strength in their faith during this trying time.
