TWO YEARS OF PURPOSEFUL LEADERSHIP: AFAN COMMENDS GOVERNOR USMAN AHMED ODODO
The State Chairman of the All Farmers Association of Nigeria (AFAN), Alhaji Salihu Adobanyi, has commended Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo on his second year in office, describing his leadership as purposeful and people-centered.
In a statement, Adobanyi noted that Governor Ododo’s administration has demonstrated uncommon dedication to uplifting the lives of ordinary citizens, with a focus on agriculture as a key driver of development. “Since assuming office, His Excellency has placed agriculture at the center of his development agenda, rekindling hope among farmers, boosting productivity, and strengthening food security across the state,” he said.
Adobanyi highlighted the governor’s initiatives, including improved access to farm inputs, support for mechanized farming, and efforts to link farmers with markets and value chains. He also commended the administration’s commitment to rural development, infrastructure, youth empowerment, education, healthcare delivery, and security.
The AFAN chairman expressed the association’s confidence in Governor Ododo’s leadership, describing him as a “farmer-friendly leader who understands that agriculture remains the backbone of our economy and the surest pathway to sustainable development.”
“We are proud of his achievements so far, and we are encouraged by his vision for a more prosperous, food-secure, and economically vibrant state,” Adobanyi said. “His humility, accessibility, and people-oriented leadership have endeared him to farmers and rural dwellers alike.”
The statement reaffirmed AFAN’s support and loyalty to Governor Ododo’s administration, looking forward to a second term that will consolidate the gains made and take the state to greater heights.
