The Convener, Congress For Better Nigeria, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has asked other Nigerian Leaders to emulate Gov. Yahaya Bello who has made it a matter of policy to travel on Nigerian road since becoming Governor, unlike other others, who prefer the comfort of air travels.
Barr. Dare gave the commendation in a statement against the backdrop that all appointees of Gov. Bello, just like the Governor, travel by road.
The Convener, who said the policy to travel by road for a would be President of Nigeria in 2023 would enable him have a full grasp of the road condition, equally feel the plight of Nigerians.
The Convener described Gov. Bello as a true example of the kind of leader the country needs, urged Nigerians to support him to be able to bring back the lost glory of the nation’s past leadership in the mould of Alh. Tafawa Balewa, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, who were selfless and made the people cardinal in their policies.
Barr. Dare, Activists lawyer and APC Chieftain, equally lauded Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku, the Chief of Staff to the Kogi State Government, for following the Governor’s directives to travel to Lagos by road to attend the just ended GYB2PYB Youty summit that ended in Lagos yesterday.
Barr. Dare described Pharm. Abdulkareem Jamiu Asuku as a leader worth following, insisting that evidence seriously abound that he is a work in progress in the politics of the State.
