It is a duty upon elected officials to brief electorates on the developmental achievements as the electorates are the pivot on which the elected are coded, hence it is worthy of commendation on the Part of the Honorable commissioner information and communication who deemed it fit to organize a town meeting to intimate the people of the success achieved by the administration of Alh. Yahaya Bello, this is a welcome development that will be more lofty if it goes round the entire state.
It will equally be nice if a larger fora is opened for other commissioner to come tell the people what they have achieved within the period they have served.
Having a town meeting is one of the legislative duties of the representatives at state and national level, unfortunately either or not they don’t know is a misery as 95% of legislators will not carry town hall meeting once throughout their tenure and this must be discouraged as it goes a long way to holding accountable elected official and also enabling Representatives feel the pulse of their constituent thereby bringing effective representation.
Hon. Fanwo I must say that the gesture is indeed worth commending and emulating and should go round.
