Toto LGC Chairman Congratulates Gov Sule on Eid-El-Fitr Celebration.
Chairman Toto Local Government Council of Nasarawa State, Hon. Aliyu Abdullahi Tashas has congratulated the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engineer Abdullahi Sule on the occasion of Eid el Fitr, preceding the fasting in the holy month of Ramadan.
A Sallah message signed by the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) Media and Publicity to the Toto LGC Chairman, Yahaya Idris, said Honourable Tashas, prayed to God to reward abundantly, all the performances of the governor during the holy month of fasting.
Hon.Tashas said the month of Ramadan in which Muslims all over the World denied themselves worldly pleasures accompanied by fervent prayers, has definitely instilled self discipline, total submission and obedience to the almighty Allah.
With the lessons imbibed from the holy month, Chairman prayed that Nigerians will continue with the spirit of Ramadan in all their endeavours throughout their lifetime.
While wishing the Governor God’s guidance and protection, Hon. Tashas urged him to use the spirit of Ramadan in enduring equity, good governance, commitment in the discharge of his duty.
The Chairman used the occasion of the Eid-El-Fitr celebration to once more congratulate the Governor on his well deserved victory at the poll for his second term.
Tashas, who commended the Governor over his wonderful performances during his first tenure, asked God to grant more wisdom to do more for the people of the state.
He thanked the people of the local government area for the the support given to the Governor and urged them to give more in view of the line up projects under execution in the area, such as the Toto ultra modern market, combating erosion in Toto, ongoing Toto – Umaisha road to mention, but a few.
” While wishing His Excellency, Happy Sallah and tremendous achievements in his second tenure, we also appeal to him to consider opening Toto LGC up, establishing socio economic amenities as the area is the second gate to FCT Abuja from Nasarawa State,” the statement said.
