The need for the Federal Government and other Tiers of Government to pay better attention to Children’s Developmental Programmes especially Education, Health and Youth Empowerment has been emphasised.
The founder, and Chief Executive Officer,CEO, Care for the Children and Prisoners Initiative, Blessing E. Olotu gave the piece of Advice at 2025 Programme of the Foundation tagged, “THE TEENAGER’S BLUEPRINT SEASON 4,,,,
RAISING A NEW GENERATION OF GREAT LEADERS in Benin-City
Blessing E. Olotu traced worsening National Insecurity and other deep Vices on the poor Policy Enforcement of Child Support Programmes Nationwide asked Government as well as Public Spirited Organizations , Individuals and Religious Organizations to aim towards early mentoring of Children to take them off the Streets .
Various Seasoned Resource Persons took time to lecture and expatiate on the Issue at the recently hosted Teenagers’ Blueprint program, by
Care for the Children and Prisoners Initiative (CCP) , a yearly event aimed at guiding young individuals to lay a solid foundation for a better tomorrow as well as disabusing their minds from social vices and towards becoming valuable members of society was attended by about 300 Students and Teachers from five schools in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area, Benin City
Some of the Critical Topics discussed at the Round table during the Event include
(a) PITFALLS OF SOCIAL VICES ON LEADERSHIP BY The CEO, Blessing E. Olotu,
(b) SUBSTANCE ABUSE: A THREAT TO LEADERSHIP INTEGRITY by Dr Dickson Okoh represented by Dr. Obaze
(c) MORAL VALUES: THE FOUNDATION OF STRONG LEADERSHIP by Mrs Glory Imhabekhai
Olotu, explained that the program focused on educating teenagers about the dangers of social vices and equipping them with skills to make positive life choices.
She said The Teenagers’ Blueprint program has been running for four years,with impact evident in the lives of the young people it has touched
According to her, “CCPI is grateful for the opportunity to make a difference and looks forward to continuing the initiative.”
Some of the Participants who exhibited so much Enthusiasm to learn and utilize the Lessons gained said they were most appreciative to be part of an Opportunity to grow a new Nigeria
The Attendees also pleaded that programs be kindly sustained and held more Frequently to reach many Youths in the Society
