Nigerian Youths For Good Governance Frontier has commended the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission for its landmark achievement in the national revenue drive and the increase of allocation of funds to the federal, state and local government areas for the month of June, 2023.
This was contained in a press statement issued by its national President of the Association Comrade Garuba Bako Aliu in Abuja today Tuesday 1st August, 2023.
The pressure group described the revenue shared for the month June between the federal, state and local government areas of the country as the highest ever in the recent history by the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission.
The President of the group said that the recent development is a signal that greater things are on their way, he urged Nigerians to exercise some too little patience with the new government of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over fuel pump price adjusted from N517 to N617 saying that the country would soon begin to reap the gains of the subsidy removal by the federal government.
He commended the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission for the great feat recently achieved. The pressure group appealed to the state governors to make judicious use of the allocation urging them to prioritize the welfare of the people by making policies and programmes that would have direct positive impacts on the lives of the citizens.
NYFGG also encouraged the Commission not to relent in its efforts to continue in upping the accruing revenue to the coffer of the federal government.
