As Local Government Council elections holds on April 19th 2022, an aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, for Esan South East Local Government Council, Hon. Louis Imhandegbelo, has said that his first priority if elected is to ensure his people are totally liberated from the incessant attack of terrorists and bandits attacks on the good people of Esan South East.
The PDP chieftain and former Senior Special Adviser to Governor Obaseki on local political matters, said that he has decided to offer himself to serve humanity in his local constituency because of numerous challenges facing his people.
“First and foremost I want to use this medium to commend the great leaders of our great party the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, the governor and all members of the State Executives for their understanding and contributions to the party.”
“After due consultations with my leaders and the good people of Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo State, my people have deemed it necessary to ask me to contest for the position of Local government Council Chairman. As a committed son of Esan South East, I cannot reject the call from my people to come and serve them. So, I’m highly elated to be counted worthy by my people to come and vie for Chairmanship position in our local government Council”.
“I like to use this opportunity to tell the good people of Esan South East to throw their full weight behind me. And I would like to say here that if given the ticket under the PDP, my administration will be totally committed to ensuring we bring the dividend of democracy to the door step of our people.”
“Again.my first priority is to fashion out a modality of bringing to an end the incessant activities of terrorists and Banditry that has bedeviled our people for close to 7 years now.
You will agree with me that our people have been under severe attack leading to having our young girls and marriage women being molested and raped by these evil persons in our society. Our men are being killed and denied their means of livelihood, our farmers chased out of their farms and their crops destroyed by cows. It will be my responsibility as local government Council boss to liberate my people from this mess. We will join forces with the state government to fight insecurity to stand still in our constituencies.”
“I’m not a foreigner in my land, I have lived with my people all my life, I know the challenges of my people, I share in.their pains and joy, there is no body in Esan South East that is homely that does not know me. There is no humanitarian job done in my local government that am not part off. I have paid my dues politically and otherwise.
“I’m for positive representation, my mission is to engender sustainable development to the people of Esan South East. Protection of lives and property of our people will be uppermost in policy drive.”
Hon. Louis Imhandegbelo, is a human capacity builder, a bridge builder between the old and young, a young man that have been tested and trusted by friends and political colleagues, a man with an impeccable character that is loved by all because of his philanthropic nature and passion for his fellow human beings.
