… as CSDA Flags off Projects.
It was all joy and jubilation in Takete Community in Bassa LGA as the Kogi State Government, through the Community and Social Development Agency flagged off the Construction of Clinic and borehole projects.
The Kogi State Government through the CSDP is to spend over N14m in the construction of the Community Development Projects.
Performing the flag off, the General Manager, Chief Dauda Momoh described the intervention as the State Government commitment to bringing development to the doorsteps of the people.
The General Manager said the Clinic when completed will reduce the incidence of traveling long distances by the residents to access primary health care delivery.
He disclosed that the borehole project will in turn reduce water borne diseases as well as reduce the long distances women suffer to fetch water, urged the implementation committee to work within the project specification guidelines.
The General Manager, represented by the Agency Adminatration Officer, Elder Jacob Akpama urged the community to carry out a good job with quality in their mind as it would enable more interventions in the Community.
In his remarks, the Community Project Management Committee Chairperson, Mr Alilu Alimu assured of strict adherence to specification as contained in the agreement and work plan.
Highlights of the flag off ceremony was the presentation of the documents and a cheque of over N3million to the Takete Community Project Management Committee of Takete, Bassa LGA.
