Takeover To Complete Security Base: Kabba Bunu Chairman Expresses Gratitude to Gov. Ododo
The Chairman, Kabba Bunu LGA, Barr. Zacchaeus Dare Michael, has expressed the appreciation of the Council and the people of the area to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo for giving his nod for the Local Government Council to take over the Completion of the Security Base for Vigilantes located opposite Kogi State University, Kabba.
The Council Chairman recalled how he met with Gov. Ododo to brief him on the progress of work on the Security Base for local hunters located opposite the State University Kabba he initiated in his private capacity, but sought the approval of the Governor for the Kabba Bunu LGA to take over the Completion of the project.
He added that the Governor, graciously. gave the nod for the takeover, disclosed that the matter which was discussed at the F and GPC meeting, approved the taking over for completion by the Local Government.
Barr. Dare who was full of appreciation for the Governor, described Gov. Ododo as an unprecedented Governor in the history of the State who has always shown readiness and willingness to invest in any project that has to do with securing lives and properties.
Barr. Dare described the Governor’s approach to securing lives and properties as one that has tremendously reduced criminality and banditry in Kabba Bunu LGA, pointed out that the Governor is a rare in qualities, exceptional in administration that is people oriented.
The Chairman notes that the Governor’s huge investment in Kabba Bunu LGA will be reciprocated by the people of the area with their unalloyed support and unblemished loyalty to his administration.
He also added that the people of the area are also going to sleep with their two eyes closed following the assurances of the Governor that by January he will personally come to commission the project as a legacy, expressed optimism that the Governor who is a talk and do Governor will make the people proud.
