Stop Aspersions Against Abubakar Momoh, Group Warn

A Socio Cultural group, Concerned Edo Citizens Forum ( CECF), has called on those casting aspersions via media war both on social media and traditional media on Engr. Abubakar Momoh to desist from it.
The group in a statement signed by Comrade Roy Oribhabor. Convener, Concerned Edo Citizens Forum (CECF), said Momoh is not Edo State Minister but Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
According to Oribhabor, as a Minister of Regional development, the ministry is about the whole of Nigeria not limited to Edo state.
” Therefore, we call on all Edo people to support him to enable him to deliver on his mandate and responsibility as bestowed on the office by Mr. President.”
“As critical stakeholders in Edo with our aims and objectives to mobilize and support our own, we call on Edo people across the globe to demonstrate sincere solidarity towards ours in national assignments.” He stated .
We have carefully researched and watched his commitment to duty. Hence, we call on Engr. Abubakar Momoh to remain focused because he has distinguished himself as man of prolific character. We are proud of the disposition as serving minister.
Concerned Edo Citizens Forum wishes to state clearly that the ministry under his watch has witnessed accelerated development through various commissions, focusing on infrastructure, agriculture,economic development, security, health, and reconstruction of communities. Edo people must show love,solidarity, and support to the honorable minister, not otherwise .
As a group, we are aware of the deprivation and hunger in the land, but Abubakar Momoh is working to rewrite the history of progression. He is a good ambassador of Edo State that must be supported.
Finally, we appeal for unity within Edo people and oneness for our sons and daughters in both national and international assignments.he concluded.
