STARDOM GLOBAL AWARDS: FORUM OF POLITICAL APPOINTEES UNDER WADA ADMINISTRATION CONGRATULATE GOV. ODODO.

The Forum of political Appointees under the administration of Capt Idris Wada (2012-2016) has forwarded a message of Congratulations to the Chief-Servant of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his well-deserved Award AS GOVERNOR OF THE YEAR (Civil Service Development). This prestigious award conferred on the Governor by Stardom Global Media Group is the recognition of the great reforms in the Civil Service and the enthronement of good Governance in Kogi State

According to a Press Statement made available to our reporter by one of the Coordinators of the Forum, Hon. Austine Alaba Medaiyedu, former Special Adviser on Inter-governmental affairs to Capt Idris Wada (2012-2016), the forum describes the honor as very timely and the recipient as the most appropriate Governor to bag the award. We do not need the wisdom of king Solomon to know that Governor Ododo has done so much for civil Servants in Kogi State.

Governor Ododo has placed high premium on the welfare of civil Servants in the state. Aside paying salaries as at when due, Governor Ododo is the first Governor in the North Central geopolitical zone to commence the payment of minimum wages for workers.

‘The Governor’s proactive and efficient style of paying salaries has earned him the popular nickname of MR. SALARY.”

We rejoice with the Chief-Servant of Kogi State and Hope that the award will spur him to do more on the development of Civil Service.

Finally, we are equally using this medium to APPEAL to the Governor for the upteenth time, to please consider the PAYMENT of our outstanding salaries. To say that things are HARD in the country is a statement of FACT. We have a lot of BILLS to pay and If the Governor is kind enough to pay us, we will surely not take it for granted.
