SPEECH DELIVERED BY MAGONGO DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION NEWLY ELECTED PRESIDENT MR AKPATA JORDAN AT THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE AND LIST OF NEWLY ELECTED OFFICIALS

It is with great delight that I address this great association.

On behalf of the newly elected officials, I wish to express my profound gratitude to everyone for deeming me worthy to fill the position of the president of this great association for the next three years. It is an honour for me and the other officials.

As we all know, we have been bound together with love and unity over the years, I will like us to continue in that since nothing can be achieved when members are not speaking one voice.

As it is our doing to always bring development to our great community, I pray that God will help us to carry out more visible programs for our community.

To this effect, I sincerely plead with the entire community to rally round me, counsel me, guide me where and when necessary.

Also, your suggestions and observations are highly solicited in all ramifications for the smooth running of the association.

I seek for the unflinching support of the community just as you have given me the opportunity to serve.

We shall be transparent in all our dealings to the entire community and carry every one along in every aspect of our programs.

I hereby urge every member to be ready to serve in any of the committees anytime they are saddled with any responsibility.

I also wish to appeal to all branches to be good ambassadors of Magongo and be ready to give their unflinching support towards the achievements of the wonder land of Magongo.

I pray that God will grant us the wisdom and strength to move the community to greater heights.

Signed.
President Magongo Development Association,
