Special Adviser on Emergency Congratulates Gov. Usman Ododo On his Appeal Court victory
… Says victory is for all Kogites geared towards development.
Hon. Mohammed Shuaibu, the Special Adviser on Emergency to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo has described the Appeal Court Judgment that affirmed the victory of the November Governorship election as a reflection of the the wishes and aspirations of the people of Kogi State.
The Special Adviser in a statement issued to Newsmen in Lokoja described the courage and forthrightness of the Appeal Court Justices as heartwarming and a victory for democracy.
The Special Adviser expressed delight that the nations judiciary is living up to it name, described the significant victory of Alhaji Usman Ododo in court today as victory for the people.
“This ruling reaffirms the mandate given by the people of Kogi State and highlights the strength of our democratic processes”.
“This victory is not just a personal achievement for Ododo but a triumph for all citizens who stood firmly for justice and transparency”.
“I also wish to express my profound appreciation to the judiciary for their prompt action and timely delivery of justice. Their efficiency and commitment to upholding the rule of law have been exemplary. By not delaying the judgment, the judiciary has reinforced public confidence in our legal system and demonstrated its pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our democracy”.
In light of the court ruling in favor of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, the Special Adviser called for unity and collaborative governance to ensure the continued progress of Kogi State.
“While we respect the decision of the court, our focus must now shift to the development and prosperity of our beloved Kogi State,” stated the Special Adviser.
“This is a time for all political parties and their candidates to come together in the spirit of unity and work towards a common goal – the betterment of our state and its people.”
The Special Adviser stressed the importance of putting the interests of Kogi State citizens first, urging all political actors to contribute their expertise and resources towards addressing the state’s challenges and capitalizing on its opportunities.
“Let us move forward with a spirit of inclusivity and shared purpose,” the Special Adviser concluded.
“Together, we can build a Kogi State that serves as a model of collaborative governance and rapid development for the entire nation.”
