It is with profound gratitude to God Almighty and utmost respect that I use this medium on behalf of the good people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency to felicitate with our foremost and respected Elder, Leader, Father, Mentor, and Guardian; Distinguished Senator Tunde Ogbeha, CON, PSC+, MSS, DSS, MNI, on the occasion of his 75th birthday anniversary.
Your Excellency Sir, the joy of being born is to grow old and live a worthy, successful and impactful life. One is particularly grateful to God that in your entire life odyssey, you have not only survived different, varied vicissitudes, soaring and towering above every storm, twist and turns but also emerged highly successful and victorious on all fronts.
To the glory of the Most High, you have been endowed with uncommon grace, unusual comportment and unexplainable contentment disposition that has continually and consistently been a worthy source of inspiration to many people and also a veritable life compass to numerous others.
Given your passion and commitment to hard work and excellence, coupled with the grace and mercy of God upon you, you have recorded numerous landmark achievements in all your endeavors and assignments. From the military and public service where you did not only rise to the rank of a one-star Army General but also became Military Administrator/Governor, to your eventful tenure as a two-term Distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and your post-public service life as a major Entrepreneur and employer of labour in various sectors, you have (and still) contributing immensely to national development. Indeed, in all of these varied stages of your life, you have always emerged as a selfless and altruistic personality, compassionate and responsive Leader, and a resourceful, efficient and effective Mentor to many people not only in Kogi state and Nigeria but across nations of the world.
Personally, on this special occasion, I wish to thank you most sincerely for all your fatherly love, counsel, support and prayers in my political journey all these years. Sir, I am most grateful for these and your continued interest in my political odyssey.
Your Excellency Sir, as I join family members, friends, colleagues, associates, acquaintances and other numerous well wishers within and outside the country to congratulate and felicitate with you on this momentous occasion, I pray that God Almighty will endow you with good health, sound mind, renewed strength and long life to enjoy the fruits of your labor to humanity, Amen. I also pray that you will experience the grace, mercy and glory of God more than ever before in every area of your life, Amen.
