The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi as part of his educational development and students scholarship support programme has rolled out the 2021 edition of the bursary disbursement support project for Students of Higher institutions of learning across Nigeria from Kogi West Senatorial District. A project he initiated to assist Kogi West students with cash support to encourage their academic pursuit and reach out in his own capacity as their representative.
In view of this and on behalf of the *SENATOR SMART ADEYEMI BURSARY AWARD COMMITTEE*, this is to announce the commencement of registration of prospective beneficiaries from Polytechnics, Colleges of Education and Universities across Nigeria for the 2021 edition of the scheme
The registration process has been scheduled to take place in all the eighty five (wards) of Kogi West and shall be coordinated by Students Union leaders of the existing associations in each LGA of Kogi West in collaboration with relevant stakeholders in each area, .
The qualifications for the bursary award are as follows:
1. Eligible beneficiary must be a qualified student of any of the aforementioned tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
2. Eligible beneficiary must provide original admission letter, current school Identity card and recommendation from any elder of the ward.
3. Eligible beneficiary must provide an existing bank account details.
4. All shortlisted names of applicants shall thereafter undergo screening and subsequent approval of the selection committee before successful applicants will be announced.
Date: registration starts on Monday 29th March and ends on the 25th April, 2021
