Sen. Karimi vs Hon. TJ Yusuf: Appeal Court Abuja Adjoins For Judgment On Kogi West Senatorial Election.


 

The Appeal Court sitting in Abuja has adjourned for judgment on the Kogi West Senatorial District Election.

 

It would be recalled that Sen. Sunday Karimi was returned as duly elected as Senator to represent Kogi West in the National Assembly.

 

Sen. Karimi defeated his closest rival, Hon. TJ. Yusuf of the Peoples Democratic Party in the February National Assembly election.

Sen. Karimi was at the sitting of the abuja appeal court today, where the hearing of appeal filed by Hon Tajudeen Yusuf against the tribunal judgement was held.

Hon. Yusuf it would be recalled had his petition dismissed at tribunal on the 4th of September 2023.

Hon. Yusuf lost the election by a margin of 18,220 votes. He proceeded to appeal the tribunal judgement.

The appeal after hearing his case today adjourned for judgement.
