Sen. Karimi Donates Another N25m to 3 Kogi West Communities for Development Projects.

 

 

… N150m for ongoing Construction of Edo Hospital in Kakanda district of Lokoja LGA.

The Senator Representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Sen. Karimi has contributed N25m to three Community development projects in three Kogi West communities.

The gesture is Sen. Karimi’s efforts aimed at impacting directly on the development of people living in communities of Kogi West.

The amount released by the Senator to the three Communities, totaling N25m, is for their on going community based projects.

The amount includes; N10m for the Construction and Rehabilitation of Koton Karfi Central mosques, N10m for the Construction of Abugi Central Mosque and N5m for the construction of Ejuku new Police Station.

Sen. Karimi it would be recalled has been directly involved in various community based projects in Kogi West he has funded personally.

Some of the projects include; the rehabilitation of Lokoja women fish cold room at the cost of N11.5m, Construction of Pakuta Bridge in Kiri, Kabba Bunu LGA, N23m and N750m in the Construction and Equipments of the Forward operation base for Nigeria Military at Egbe.

Sen. Karimi has equally supported in the provision of funds for various developments projects in communities which includes; the ongoing construction of CBT and E- learning centre at Titcombe College Egbe in collaboration with the old Students Association. The amount expected to be spent at the CBT centre may run into N350m at completion.

Furthermore, Sen. Karimi has supported other projects in terms of funding through zonal interventions projects of Federal Government Agencies. This support is in the provision of water supply facilities to about 200 communities, provision of transformers, solar street lights.

Presently, Sen. Karimi’s support for community development Project is reflected in the ongoing construction of Edo Community hospital in Kankanda district of Lokoja LGA, a project he is funding 100%, will cost about N150million with minimal furnishing, and hospital equipments when completed.

The several ongoing projects and intervention mentioned, amongst several many others ongoing, the Senator disclosed is in the fulfillment of his campaign promises to the people of Kogi West, described his representation as service, one that has no limits, but about the people of Kogi West.
