Security: KOSIREC Lauds Gov. Bello’s Pro-activeness managing security apparatus


 

commends State Security Agencies sacrifices, prosecuting unconventional security challenges

The Kogi State Inter religious Council has commended Gov. Yahaya Bello for his pro-activeness in effectively managing the security apparatus of the State.

The State inter religious Council in a communique signed by Dr. Bishop John Ibenu, and Amb. Usman Bello, Co- Chairman, CAN and JNI, said Gov. Bello’s proactiveness has ensured that the state is witnessing relative peace.

The Council calls on religious bodies to pray for the State and the Nation, lauded the return of security trust, peaceful co-existence and rapid development witnessing in the State.

Below is the COMMUNIQUE issued at the end of the meeting.

 

KOGI STATE INTER RELIGIOUS COUNCIL KOSIREC MEETING HELD AT THE CAN SECRETARIAT CHAPEL OF FREEDOM INTERNATIONAL —LOKOJA ON TUESDAY 27th JULY 2021.

 

The Kogi State inter-religious Council at its meeting held at the Kog! State CAN Secretariat, Chapel of freedom international, Lokoja, reviewed the security situation in Nigeria generally and Kogi State in particular and recommends that it needs urgent actions to reassure the citizenry.

2. The Council commends the Governor of Kogi State His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for his pro-activeness in effectively managing the security apparatus of the State for the benefit of all which is the reason for our relative peace.

3. The Council congratulates Kogi State on her 30th year Anniversary coming up on the 27th August 2021 thus wishing her more years of far reaching development and purposeful Leadership.

4 The Council call on all religious bodies to pray for the State and the Nation for the return of security trust, peaceful co-existence and rapid development.

5 The Council call on all and sundry in the critical time we are passing through to be vigilant. That the maxim: “if you see something, say something” should be the watchword of all as the security of the land is the business of every citizen,

6 The Council also wish to commend the State Security Agencies for their sacrifices in prosecuting the unconventional security challenges that we face

7 We call on all and sundry to continue to uphold Kogl State and Nigeria in thelr prayers and foster purposeful partnarship with the government
